Foreign language localization

Post by jin35y »

I myself sometimes get confused when menus aren't localized, and this lack of localization is a hindrance when recommending Curvy3D to my fellow modelers.

Wouldn't it be possible to create menus that are easy for individual users to understand in their own languages and share them on the official website?

If menu items could be displayed with several levels of annotation, from beginner to advanced, it would allow users to work on their models more efficiently.

I believe doing something like this would make it easier to get ratings on platforms like Steam and to be seen by users who search only in their own language.

This would be a good feature to have - what language(s) are you best at?

My friend and I are both proficient in Japanese, but my friend says that the English menus are difficult to understand.

It seems that when you first start using something, it's better if the menus are intuitively understandable.

Even if a beginner can read the menus, things like selecting a child object before executing an action, or selecting a parent object before executing an action, can be difficult to grasp.

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like some clear step by step tutorials are needed to explain how to use some of the trickier tools.
