While without Curvy meshes I tried... Updated X1

Post by mykyl »

Until the new beta starts, I tried to see if I could figure out how to model in Truespace.

This is my first attempt and is unfinished. Still to add detail and then texture it.

The top one is the temp fish with sds applied and the lower one is the actual low poly model. (You can see the cage).

Wow Mykyl....pretty impressive so far...for me anyways. I simply cannot make anything with box modeling...except maybe pretty good rocks. I get it but I'm just not successful at working it. So hat's off to you.

Go to this page. These videos cleared up box modelling quick sharp for me. Just watching these videos just made it so clear. The principal works with other box modellers as well.

I can now use My SIlo as well. Cool.

All I need now is the ability to import the base mesh into Curvy and add more detail. (Still quicker than standard ways.)

Well I finished the main modelling. Tried it in Curvy but the texture was all over the place. (I just wanted to add placement textures. lol)

Here it is until I can figure out UV Mapping.
