New Surface Smoothing Brushes

Post by Simon »

I've added some new smoothing brushes that are helpful for shaping a surface as well as levelling out unwanted dips and bumps.

The Rounded brush will eventually turn any surface into a sphere shape, useful for puffing out cheeks.

The Flattened brush evens out the surface towards a flat plane, but with a low intensity is excellent at smoothing and shaping curved parts of a model.

The Curved brush evens out the surface to a curved shape, helpful when you don't want to round or flatten and need to preserve the shape as much as possible.

The smooth brush tends to leave larger noise intact, the new brushes remove much more of the large scale variations.

This mesh has a lot of fine detail and high resolution parts. The smooth brush does not work well on fine detail, but the new brushes clean it up easily.
