Dark Hero

I wanted to revisit the superhero genre with a modern style costume. I joined the model sections together for posing, before exploding the parts out again for texturing. I made a lot of use of the "View/Panels/Texture Placement" settings.

For the main suit texture I make a simple model, rendered as a depth map and cropped out a tiling piece.

wow, that texturing is really good. rendered as a depth map you say...hmmm I will have to try that.

I used Layered Screenshot to get the ambient occlusion, and switched to Z-Depth on the camera panel to save the Depth info.
