Cali - Mesh tools in action

This is my first large scale trial of the new mesh tools as a solution for adding extra detail to models, seamlessly joining curvy objects and editing. http://www.curvy3d.com/images/sd/opti3.JPG I modelled the boots by drawing a mesh over a curvy mapped lathe, then using widgit move to edit it, alon...

Mesh Tutorial 2 - line flow

Ok, don't try this yet - you'll go insane adding points. The next build will let you add polylines directly click-click-click, rather than adding lines after creating points. Open the groups window and add normal curvy objects as children to a mesh. http://www.curvy3d.com/images/sd/lineflow.JPG As s...

Mesh Tutorial 1

Here is a quick intro to the new tools. I expect the workflow to change quite a bit over time - this is more a prototype to test the potential than a final workflow design. First you need to create a new mesh object. This is found beneath the old lathe line and loft objects. Click in any view to cre...

Hi smitty :) glad to hear you are having fun with Curvy!

"Curvy Pro" is really the same thing as Curvy 1.5 - and the new features are described here:

http://www.curvy3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1641

All these things can be tried out in the Curvy 1.5 demo that shipped on 3dworld mag.

Try double clicking on "UserGuide.chm" in the Curvy1.5 demo - the tutorials should work from there.

I guess you might be using links from the Curvy1.0 help files which mioght be out of date by now.
