I am working on a video tutorial showing how to turn inflated objects, and merged objects into sculpties - I hope that will help answer your question.

That is beautiful and thoughtful. The natural figure adds a lot to the abstract landscape.

Bottles - Sculpted Prims

OK, so this is an easy target for Curvy :) But they were fun to make!

The Square bottle was the hardest - I used "Image/Apply Children: Subtract" using four flat Lofts to 'squash' the sides flat.

The whole process usually takes under 20 secs to set the parameters and choose an image to inflate - I don't think there is much more I can say, but we are here to help if you need more step-by-step guides to achieve a particular effect once you have bought it. There is more info in the UserGuide (r...

I can inflate a couple of images for you and post the results back here if you like? That way it makes it easier for others to see how it works too!

Best thing would be to zip/rar a couple of your images and email them to images at curvy 3 d dot com

I couldn't reproduce the effect you got with a simple translation - But I did get a similar effect by using a white curvy map with a 50% grey border. The border claps the edges shut and allows for an easy and clean merge. Speckled one is a single loft - smooth one is a merged loft after duplication ...

I could add this as a setting the the Merge options - "Thicken Lofts"
I am impressed how smooth your output is - I guess it needs careful control of the width.

Building an Arch for Second Life

I built this sculpted prim arch using a Loft in Curvy. Read how below: http://www.curvy3d.com/images/arch1.JPG 1) Select the Loft tool 2) Draw the large curve for the opening under the arch in Front view (I only made 1/2 an arch at a time) 3) Draw a C-shape curve at the base of the arch.
