IZNT posted some cool hair models on Discord.
Each strand of hair is it's own model. You can use spheres, lines and lathes to model thick strands of hair that will end up with a clean looking result.

Re: Curvy3D in VR?
I looked into VR a few years ago - but saw it as too small a niche to develop towards.
I've tried some VR 'painting' in 3D apps but they were more like toys than for making full models.

Re: When I finally open the created file, it crashes.
Screenshots can not be opened by Curvy. Save files have a little Curvy logo in the bottom left to show they can be opened.
Please email me an autosave to support@curvy3d.com and I will try and find out why it is crashing, thanks.

Re: 2D paint
To make clothes on the surface of another object...
Copy the object
Use "Mesh/SliceBy/Curve"
Draw your shape
Bake Action
"Mesh/Detach"
"Mesh/Thicken"
Delete the rest of the object that was created when you detached

Re: Display thickness in color
Not sure how I would display thickness.
If I was making a model of clothes I would start with a single skin of mesh, just one side, and one I was finished sculpting I would use "Mesh/Thicken" to add a uniform thickness to the whole object at once.

Glad to hear it is going well!
The SubD workflow is very new to Curvy, so if there are things missing that you would like to see included do let me know

Re: Need clarity on the Steam Bundles
The Steam bundles are there to allow previous owners to buy the new version with a discount. While you will get both versions if you buy a bundle you only need to install the latest 5 version. It is usually cheaper to just buy 5 alone, but during discount sales the bundle price may be lower. It is a...

Re: Version 5 Trial
I've used my Wacom tablet with Curvy, no problems. And I know other people use tablets to draw in Curvy. Not sure why that might make it crash.

Thanks for giving the steps. I tried T dragging on a 12,000,000 resolution model and couldn't get it to crash.

Re: Version 5 Trial
I wonder if the crashes are due to a particular method you are using, I don't see crashes very often. If there is an error message when it crashes that can help, but Curvy doesn't save logs. I recommend using Ctrl-Shift-S to save incremental versions of your project to guard against losses, and perh...
