Yeah, it would have taken days without that Curvy + Meshlab magic!
The animation itself was made in another program I wrote to help with making games - it is optimised as a character rigger/animator, very fast to use but not so user-friendly as Curvy

It's early days for the animation - but the Lo-Poly model is holding up well under the strain.

I'm making a little lo-poly horse for Spice Road so I did a quick 3D sketch in Curvy then reduced it down to a decent polycount for gaming with MeshLab (Quadric Simplification).
