Actually, archipelis is severely limited making meshes. Only a very few pictures can be used to any good result. But it's good to have another tool in the arsenal regardless.

I still have trouble making shapes with Curvy3D, but I made these with a program called Archipelis then imported them into Curvy to give them dimension and touch up the paint. They only took a few minutes to make I spent more time in Curvy doing the finessing.

The funny thing is I'm not even sure how I got the ear shape to work. I remember I drew a profile with the lathe tool then I think I used a 3rd line in a different window then mirrored it to make the lathe go flat. Not much here except that with the new inflate/deflate/add/subtract tools I can more easily flesh out basic shapes.
More and better to come.
