Re: Does it still support Dogwaffle / PD Howler or Artist?

yeah lol there's always something though that's the bottleneck, right? anyway, lots of new features when you look back at v11 the last of the releases on Steam. v12 and v13 didn't make it to Steam. 4 years later we're now getting ready for v14 getting back there too. For those who are curious: https...

Re: Does it still support Dogwaffle / PD Howler or Artist?

Here is the YouTube playlist in the meantime https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBqbdhU5umbcv5Q1zr2Ko1o7uyXIQxBFf Maybe the first lesson can already tell you what has changed? Next I will email Dan to ask if he has a brief code sample in text form or in a file that we can share with you to show what...

Re: Does it still support Dogwaffle / PD Howler or Artist?

Thank you for the quick reply Simon... I will get you the latest which at this time is version 14 AKA 2021 build 72...and work with Dan Ritchie to get you the latest and answers to any questions. I don't know that there were any significant changes to the protocol but I don't know that for a fact. A...

Does it still support Dogwaffle / PD Howler or Artist?

heya, I'm downloading the demo version to try a few things, love the fact that bones are back, and so much more. The dynamic subdivision. yay! Also, of course curious to see how well the connection is with Dogwaffle, if it still works. Anyone have tried it yet with Curvy 4? And if so, which version ...

looking for Fashion Design related examples - Threadshow.com

Hi all, I am gearing up to go to a fashion design show here in San Diego, the thread show ( http://www.threadshow.com ) Sunday, sorry about the short notice. Simon has sent me a few great examples that show Curvy props with Poser or other fashion and design related examples. I am looking for more if...

Re: Doggie Question

Hey i could use some advice here--first can i put Dogwaffle on my pc and then move the finished product (image) to curvy 3d on my mac--I am assuming that it is just producing an image for you to apply wherever. Also, I almost purchased the pro version but i quickly backed off because the sites that...

Fashion design expo report

Heya, I went to a local fashion design show last weekend, called the Thread SHow. It was in San Diego, other locations out there too. www.threadshow.com Quite a number of designers there, making logos and stuff to decorate hats, skateboards, jackets, jewelry... Curvy was well received by those who w...

Thanks, much appreciated. If there are other developers looking at this code, and interested in using Dogwaffle as a framework for imaging and frame-by-frame animation or more, check the SDK and free source code snippets, most in VB but also some in Delphi, as submitted by Artweaver: http://www.theb...

The leaves were done with Particle Illusion from Wondertouch. I also use Carrara and as a renderer it is way better than Truesapce in my opinion. What made it all finally click with me was the series of video tutorials for Gamespace done by the 3dBuzz folks. http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/tutori...

Re: standard modelling excersise. Updated X2

Well I thought it was about time I tried to create a full creature top to bottom using standard box modelling techniques. Its unfinished but it taught me a lot. Done in Truespace then rendered in Carrara. I need to sort out the fact that he is unbalanced... Tilts too far back. need to be leaning fo...

I wish I could do bones. For some reason, they elude me! I played with TrueSpace 3/4/5/6 a while, didn't go as far as doing bones. Played a lot with Carrara and wrote a bunch of tutorials on bones too: http://www.thebest3d.com/carrara In particular, here are some on setting up IK and animating with...

were the leaves/flowers done with Dogwaffle?

Neat moose. Here's a graphical challenge: what do you get when a moose falls into a puddle of molten chocolate?
