Re: Improved Primitives
Setup for that typically is so quirky in other programs.
Simplifying it will be a great workflow improvement.

Re: Clockwork Art Tools
Looks like you may be able to work around some of the awkward faceting and triangulation on the curve's face by splitting the source curve up in a more organized fashion before importing it. Can't wait to get my hands on 4.0 I have my finger on the forward button for the email form steam as proof of...

Re: Clockwork Art Tools
FWIW it doesn't look like you need to do a thing.
The results from those imported SVGs and the slab primitive look incredibly clean!
Can we see a wireframe of those slabs?
Is there a density or detail slider? I get the feeling they are quite heavy on the polys.

Re: Actions + Live Edits
This will be tremendously valuable for things like propeller blades.
You can just change the number of blades if you change your mind or make an enhanced version of you plane with less or more blades.
The non destructive workflow will be really handy.

Re: Slab with Holes
Will you be able to select more than one disconnected curve (closed or open) to use with the same slab modifier?
Or will you just do one curve and then the other?

Re: Improved Primitives
Curvy is going to be so amazing for kit bashing mechanical designs it is not even funny.
With some sculpting and smoothing, it will be great for organics as well.

Re: 4.0 UI
You should contract yourself out to other companies for icon development.
These are some of the cleanest icons that simply indicate what they do I
have ever seen.
It is such a pet peeve of mine with all these icon heavy programs that
absolutely do not make sense. They may as well be ascii

Re: Smooth Cut
Are these cuts live?
Can you adjust the curve after the cut has been made?
Or is it that you can just alter the depth?
Can you make this do a negative depth so that it becomes
a bump/protrusion?

Re: Actions + Live Edits
It is really hard to tell with all of these new features
which one will be the biggest game changer. But I have
to admit these deformations are going to be hard to top.
I can't wait to get my hands on curvy3d v4!
Is it available to steam purchasers of v3?
