Minotaur1964 viewsI modelled this beast in an evening. He was made by sketching the major shapes and then drawing a mesh over the top. The mesh was then finished off with a bit of subdivision and soft editing.

Speed Sculpt Monster21 viewsYou can sketch out some lathes very quickly to define the rough shape of your model, then do a "Quick Merge All" and a "Mirror" to make a good basemesh for sculpting into.
