CNC Grayscale

I cut wood with a CNC Router. It is a machine that is guided by G-Code, the language that gives movement to the router.
I have the CAD program Aspire by Vectric.
I am able to import 3d Gray-scale as well as STL files
The type of gray-scale is where the dark, the deeper the router cuts.
Lighter is less cut.
STL files are well known in the 3d printing arena. I can use these as well.
Will Curvy3d perform to my requirements?
Does anyone have experience in rendering 3d from normal pictures?
I'm interested in acquiring the program if it fits my needs.
Thanks for any input.
