Does Curvy3d support Ptex?
So, I was wondering about this. Ptex seems to be freely available now, but I didn't know if I could use Curvy3d to do Ptex. If not, is another version in the future planning to support Ptex?

Curvy does not use PTex. As I understand it is more suited to high definition film and animation - rather beyond Curvy's remit as a fun hobby modeller.
I did look into PTex as a texturing solution a couple of years ago - I think Curvy will stick to simple image based maps, they are easy to make and edit in 3rd party 2d software.
Of course if you like the benefits PTex brings you can always quickly sketch a model in Curvy then take it into other software to use PTex.[/b]
