No 3D in my Viewports

heyas;
yesterday i made a starfish in curvy3d. today i went to open my file, and there was nothing but a + in it! so i went to make a new mesh to test if things were saving properly, but when i draw a lathe, i only get lines and no 3d thingy!
any idea what might be causing that?
the 'only' thing i did was delete the curvy3d directory from 'my documents,' since i prefer to use the program directories instead. :X
EDIT:
oh... hahahah.... okay, i copied the curvy3d directory from where i want it to 'my documents' and now i see in 3d again.
