Cut

Is there a way to cut off part of a model? Not just cut curve, but to cut off a piece of a mesh.
draw your object
deselect it
draw another object the shape of the cut
in the groups panel make the second object a child of the first
select the first object
go to the model menu and use subtract children
hide the first two objects and the new mesh will be visible
