I had a bit of a breakthrough on this this week. After struggling getting all the mac UI working I've decided to just use hand rolled OpenGL UI for almost all of the interface, and only dip into OSX UI for the file open/save dialogs.

In any case this development brings a proper, fully functional Mac OSX Beta much closer (I've also fixed the Merge crash bug).

I'm a long-time Mac and Windows user and developer and I do a lot of 3d work. I've been hoping for a Mac version of Curvy3D for some time, and I'm glad to see that you seem to be getting close.

If you're after Mac beta testers...

(I'm sorry to hear you found dealing with Cocoa dialogs so frustrating you rolled your own in OpenGL, but I can commiserate. It would be nice if one day Apple released tools that were as nice for developers as their software is for end-users.)

I don't have a PPC to actually test on so we'll probably find out if it works when the beta is available (should be soon!). I'm developing in OSX 10.4 so hopefully I'm not doing anything incompatible.

yeah
