I've been reading about this great inflate process but I cannot figure out how to do it.

How do I import a 24 bit bmp into Curvy?

Where do I click to start the inflate process?

Help???

Yes, I'm using the demo version and it is not there. Let me know if you decide to put it in the demo version. I really want to try this feature before buying the full version. I have demo'ed every sculpting type app and I think yours has the features I need.

curvy has been one of the best software investments i have ever made :D
it is unique and creates highly original 3d models very quickly.
i used to waste a lot of time with other 3d apps.

curvy works so
all i can do is recommend, you buy it

I can inflate a couple of images for you and post the results back here if you like? That way it makes it easier for others to see how it works too!

Best thing would be to zip/rar a couple of your images and email them to images at curvy 3 d dot com

Simon,

Thanks for the offer. I've seems several examples in the tutorial and other forum post. The feature and outcome look good. It's more how easy it is for me to do it. I am not very good when it comes to using software like this.

The whole process usually takes under 20 secs to set the parameters and choose an image to inflate - I don't think there is much more I can say, but we are here to help if you need more step-by-step guides to achieve a particular effect once you have bought it.

There is more info in the UserGuide (right at the bottom of this page)

And the Sword Tutorial describes the steps fairly simply.
