I really feel at home with Curvy3D. My strong suit is my 2d skills (lasso tool and all) but the lathe system is so fun.

Here are a few of my experiments with curvy3d

Thanks for sharing these, they are so bright and playful, really nice variety and personality to each of them - I'm betting you are an experienced 2D illustrator.

Simon: Thanks Simon! 2d is definitely a stronger skill of mine, but with higher demands of doing 3d stuff, I've been trying to find software for me to express ideas (and I think I've found it ;) )

Sculptor: Thank you! :D

If anyone is curious about my 2d work : http://brokemypencil.ca/

Here are some more :)

Thanks for your gallery link - very fun seeing your 2D work as well. I enjoy seeing all the variations on characters too.
Checking out a few months of your archives I am amazed by the huge quantity and variety of art you must work very hard.

Simon: No problem! It's been a fun journey (still ongoing) I just love creating! been trying to apply for studio positions as freelancing isn't going too well.

mykl: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them :)

Wowza those are some really nifty models! I like your art style; clean intersections and well defined shapes.
