Texturing exercise. Is there tutorial available about Curvy texturing workflow?

Especially I'd like to know this. When I paint in 3D view, changes show on model but not in 2D (texture) view. If I would like to export them, I need to know the texture file(?).

There is probably something simple I just don't know... :D

Cute Pig!

There are currently two paint brushes - one to paint on the mesh vertices, and the other to paint on texture maps. Perhaps you were using the mesh painting brush? Otherwise everything should show in 2D as you paint.

At some point I will add baking of mesh colour/occlusion/etc to the texturemap.

Textures are saved as BMP alongside your saves and should be referenced correctly in the OBJ export - however sometimes other programs have trouble locating the textures on your harddisk.

Oh. That's it, I used wrong tool. Good, now it works sensibly. I understood that one tool for 2D and one for 3D. Seems I'll be using only the texture one from now on. Vertex colors are not in my render flow.
