Critters

Post by Simon »

Wolfman, Samurai and Ninja from a little tower defence game I am working on.
The actual game shows them walking along using a simple stopmotion animation technique with frames captured in Curvy.

I've got quite a few more of these to go to complete the set, watch this space - and eventually I'll post the game too!

Are you going to try release it on the iPod/iPhone?

I've played the old version on a N900 so I think it could work OK on a touch screen. I'd just have to change the controls a little to get rid of "mouse over" events.

Other than that it comes down to which will make a better return, Flash sponsorship deals seem pretty nice, whereas you have to do lots more self-marketing to turn a profit on iPhone (I believe). Of course you have at least 2 games more experience than me of that ;)
