"Slice Fortress Defence" - Curvy 3D Game Graphics

Post by Simon »

I made the fortress and landscape for this game in Curvy (The sprites were made in Curvy too)

Just got to finish the UI and I will post the game ;) The little enemies have 7 frames of animation and waddle along up the ramp as you fight them off.

The shading on the castle was painted on the models in Curvy... I considered exporting and using a raytracer, but recent experience told me it would be 20x faster to just paint it myself 8)

There is really something quite lovely about these images, a range of techniques and colours that have come together and a sense of fun.
The pictures seem to say "play me" 8)

I played it to about level 60 but had to quit to go to work. I like it. I really like the design of the castle. Painted in lights are better. Also give a more controlled look.
