Virtual Sculpture St Paul's Bay
Virtual Sculpture St Paul's Bay
made in curvy(10 min)
bryce render(30 min)
This was an exercise to test making visualizations for commissions.
I found i could really speed up renders by getting rid of ground planes etc
and i could then use lots of lights.

i'm still at 5.5
but it was free (on a bona fide legal offer i might add)
in this render i was aiming for realism (i don't know whether i succeeded )
i am not sure about the hdr in later bryce do you think hdr looks more or less realistic ?

never liked hdr myself - couldn't see what it does to most renders .
