i found inflate very useful for this one(it saved me a lot of work)
the trick is to scale the object up a bit after the inflate and then do a s-merge to increase the resolution so that it can be worked on with the warp tools.
A bit of trial and error is needed to judge how much to scale it up.

Sculptor, that's freakin' nice. I love that purple texture you have there. Your humanoid is very nicely done as well. Great seams and merges. To be honest, I first thought it was a Poser model heh. Lovin' what your getting out of Curvy. I'm off to work but I'm hopin' I can squeeze in some time when I get home to Curvy. Gotta get my Wacom skills down.

Thanks for the feedback mr Nemo.
I'm still having problems with hands and feet. If you look closely at the feet there are no separate toes just indications of toes. The problem is if you make fingers and toes next to each other in curvy you lose them when you s-merge. If anybody finds a way round that i would love to know. :)
