helicopter "pinch" modelled

Post by sculptor »

direct and untouched from beta

Image

one of the delightful effects of the new beta curvy auto-inflate is when black lines are thin and "unfinished" (rather like lost and found lines in classical drawing)
Image
This is the image that instantly creates a model when auto inflated

I have never been able to model so quick before, thanks to curvy beta

It pinches areas so for want of a better word I call it pinch modeling

Oooh this is lovely! The pinched lines help control the width of the extruded areas nicely and the overall effect is a novel modelling style.

Does inflate work only with two color images? It would be nice if darker shades could control the thickness of the inflated object. I am glad Curvy is moving forward. I thought it had disappeared for some time.
