Colour Panel
This panel lets you change the colours used for painting, for objects and for
the background.
Controls
This diagram shows the different controls on the colour panel.
It is important to keep an eye on the Colour Type, you will usually be
using the Paint colour but you can choose different colour types by
holding down the LMB on the white type name and picking a different colour type
from the menu.
The Colour Swatch shows the active colour. If you LMB click on this
swatch you can use a normal Windows colour picker complete with type in HSL and
RGB values.
The Red, Green and Blue Sliders are simple to use. The two
blocks of colour at the bottom let you pick the hue and saturation of your
colour by clicking and dragging. The little white circle shows the current
values.
NB: Dragging on the Hue/Saturation Block when the current colour is pure
white or pure black will have no effect - you will need to change the Saturation/Luminance
values before choosing the Hue in these situations.
